- Formally recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization.
- Five teams: 10U Li'l Devils, 10U Royal, 12U White, 12U Royal & 14U
- Past players have played or currently play high school softball for
CR Jefferson, CR Kennedy, CR Washington, Xavier, Linn-Mar, Marion, Midland,
Olin, Center Point,
Clear Creek-Amana, Solon, Williamsburg, North Cedar, Iowa City West, Prairie,
Benton Community, Vinton-Shellsburg, Omaha Burke (Nebraska), and Huntsville High
School (Alabama)
- Six former players have played or are playing in NCAA Division I programs. A
number of former players have played in NCAA Division III programs.
- Dedicated softball diamond for girls – Apache Park – completed skinned
infield with outfield fencing (185’).
- ASA Level 2 Certified Softball Coach; continuous membership in ASA
since 1990; continuous membership in National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA)
since 1995 (NFCA's senior most travel ball coach in Iowa).
- Scholarship Program – no one is turned away from the Blue Devils'
program due to inadequacy of family funds.
- Fundamental Training Stressed – focus on mechanical drills and
performance while maintaining a winning program in the most competitive softball
environment for girls.
